Track design concept report

LAKE MAC COUNCIL STAFF who are working on implementing the Munibung Hill Management Plan have, over the last couple of months met with represent-atives of TRC Trails, the company hired to undertake a trail audit and come up with designs for walking trails at Munibung Hill. .

“Project staff at Council have received and are currently reviewing the Draft Munibung Hill Trail Design Report, including concept design for viewing areas,” said Steven Cowen, Community Land Planner (Sports), Lake Macquarie City Council.

“Amendments will then be completed prior to broader consultation with other Council Staff.”

“It is anticipated that the final Report and designs will be completed by the end of August 2023,”
 
“Council will continue with actioning the 2023/2024 Operation Plan to ‘Acquire easements to support the development of the Munibung Hill recreation trails, Boolaroo’ by consulting with relevant land owners,” Steven said.
