Over twelve months ago Lake Mac Councillors voted for the preparation of a Management Plan for Munibung Hill. The vote in favour of the Munibung Hill Management Plan was unanimous. 

Umwelt, the consultants appointed by Council to carry out the site study, have prepared a draft Management Plan for Munibung Hill. A first draft was submitted to Council in September. Council department heads are now reviewing the Plan before sending it back for revision in preparation for the plan being tabled at the October meeting of Council.

We expect that the Plan will then go on public exhibition for 28 days.  The community will be invited to make final submissions before it is adopted by Council early 2022.
