Caring for country the Landcare way

COMMUNITY CONCERN for how we’ve ill-treated the land in the past is behind the push to rid the bush of invasive species such as the Formosa lily – as featured in Issue 36 of MMM. Reducing their density and encouraging species indigenous to the area, will over time help to oust the lily in favour of native grasses, understorey shrubs and larger canopy trees.
