Soft minimalist footprints
Long before the white fella set foot on Munibung Hill, there was first of all the presence of soft footed animals such as the paws of bandicoots, possums, wombats and wallabies. Then came the soft footed human Aboriginal presence with minimalist technologies that did little to disturb her form and purpose. These were the First Footprints, spoken about in the documentary series broadcast on NITV in June.
